Operational structure

The operational structure of the firm now consists of, two (2) Partners, one (1) Principal, two (2) Managers, Seven (7) Senior Accountants, Thirty-Four (34) Staff Accountants, Three (3) Internal Auditors and Eight (8) Independent Contracted Consultants.

The firm provides professional services to medium and large size organizations in both the private and public sectors. The professional services and advice offered by Bakertilly are of the highest quality at the most competitive costs in the Industry. Team members are highly professional, technically competent and committed to providing exceptional services to clients.

Initially, the firm had one location, which is now the head office, situated at 14 Ruthven Road, Kingston 10. As the firm’s operations grew, the partners saw it appropriate to extend their services to clients in central Jamaica, such as Clarendon and Manchester regions. This gave way to the Mandeville Branch, which is situated at 3 Williams Drive, Mandeville, Manchester.

The strength of the network’s position today as one of the world’s Top 10 accounting networks is the result of the continued investment through this period in realising its long-term vision: to be recognised as a global network of closely aligned, premier, independent accounting firms serving leading national and global organisations.

Baker Tilly International was established in 1988 when it was known as Summit International Associates. The network re-branded as Baker Tilly International in 2002 and again 2018 as Bakertilly.

In February 2014 Baker Tilly Strachan Lafayette formed a strategic alliance with Baker Tilly International, UK. Being an independent member firm of Baker Tilly International provides a range of resources that facilitates access to the specialist knowledge, experience, and intellectual property of thousands of recognised experts worldwide.
